Cambridge Core is the principal academic platform from Cambridge University Press. It replaces and combines content from Cambridge Journals Online, Cambridge Books Online, Cambridge Histories Online, Cambridge Companions Online, and Shakespeare Survey Online.

The current subscription includes more than 400 journals in a variety of subjects, e.g. Anthropology, Biology, Education, Law, etc. 


The Digital National Security Archive contains the most comprehensive set of declassified government documents available. The resource now includes 42 collections consisting of over 103,000 meticulously indexed documents, with more than 719,000 total pages. Each of these collections, compiled by top scholars and experts, exhaustively covers the most critical world events, countries, and U.S. policy decisions from post World War II through the 21st century. Together, these collections offer unparalleled access to the defining international strategies of our time. Glossaries, chronologies, bibliographies, overviews, and photographs are included.


The eBook Collection (EBSCOhost) contains the same titles (more than 1600) as former NetLibrary Collection and replaces NetLibrary.


eJournal Portal 360 Link includes an A-to-Z Title List, title searching and subject browsing of AUTh Library's subscriptions (e-Journals, e-Books and bibliographic databases).


Emerald Insight by Emerald (former MCB University Press). The subscription provides access to:

  1. more than 400 journals
  2. Full text to approximately 140 titles of e-book series of collections Emerald Business, Management and Economics και Emerald Social Sciences. Three of the series titles (Innovation and Leadership in English Language Teaching, Syntax and Semantics, Studies in Writing) purchased by Brill and is now available only through its platform.
  3. Full text to more than 300 titles of electronic books of the Emerald’s “Business, Management and Economics” and “Social Sciences” portfolios. 

Essential Science Indicators is a unique compilation of performance statistics and trends extrapolated from counts of articles published in scholarly journals and the citations to those articles.

  • NewsVault for searching all subscribed newspaper collections (Economist & Financial Times are included)
  • Artemis primary sources for searching subscribed digital collections (ECCO, Modern Law, Modern World, Financial Times are included). More collections will be integrated.  

Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries (your school, your public library, or your office).
