SciELO Citation Index (1997-present) provides access to scholarly literature in sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities published in leading open access journals from Latin American, Portugal, Spain and South Africa. 


ScienceDirect by Elsevier. The subscription provides access to

  1. more than 2900 ejournals published by Elsevier
  2. book series. Full text to approximately 170 titles of Book series, the 91 of which are now available through the platform of Emerald.
  3. textbooks. Full text to approximately 20 titles of handbooks.
  4. reference works. Full text to 58 titles of encyclopedias.
  5. Referex Engineering books. Full text to approximately 400 titles of electronic books of Chemical, Petrochemical and Process Engineering Collection, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Collection, Electronics and Electrical Engineering Collection.

The object of the Synedriothiki is to list and promote conferences, forums and other scholarly events held at AUTh in a single standardised online environment with the option of submitting search criteria, which will help upgrade the existing services. 

It hosts conferences and scholarly events organised by AUTh Faculties, Schools, Departments, Laboratories, etc.
