Library of Philosophy Department

The Library of Philosophy Department of the School of Philosophy and Pedagogy has a collection of approximately 14.000 books, mostly in Greek, English, French, and German. The collection also includes philosophical dictionaries, encyclopedias, as well as books from other disciplines (Religion, History of Sciences, Comparative Literature, Sociology, etc.). The Library collection has been enriched by the donations of the late professors of the School, Charalambos Theodoridis and Giannis Imvriotis.  
The set of philosophical books and journals covers all periods of philosophical reflection (Ancient Greek, Medieval, Modern European and Modern), as well as all the basic disciplines of Philosophy (Ontology, Metaphysics, Knowledge Theory, Ethics and Political Philosophy, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Science, Logic, Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Philosophy).
