The Browzine tool provides the possibility to browse the electronic journals - subscriptions of the AUTH Library and the Association of Greek Academic Libraries.

By subscribing to the Browsezine page you can build a shelf of periodicals of interest and receive updates on new issues and articles.

BrowZine is also available as an (IOSAndroid).


Bulletins - Yearbooks

The alphabetically organised collection of approximately 6000 volumes of bulletins and yearbooks from AUTh and other institutions is located in Basement A of the old library building. The material is non-loanable.


Cambridge Core is the principal academic platform from Cambridge University Press. It replaces and combines content from Cambridge Journals Online, Cambridge Books Online, Cambridge Histories Online, Cambridge Companions Online, and Shakespeare Survey Online.

The current subscription includes more than 400 journals in a variety of subjects, e.g. Anthropology, Biology, Education, Law, etc. 


​​The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) is dedicated to the advancement of chemistry and crystallography for the public benefit through providing high quality information, software and services.

Structures deposited with CCDC are made publically available for download at the point of publication or at consent from the depositor. They are also scientifically enriched and included in the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) which underpins a range of software solutions offered by CCDC. Targeted subsets of the CSD are also freely available to support teaching and other activities.

Access is provided by AUTh IT Center AUTh IT Center.


Chadjimichail Michail Collection

This collection mainly pertains to the “Thermaikos” Hellenic Railways Organisation Choir and includes photographs, documents, publications and reviews of musical performances and famous artists.


Christianopoulos Ntinos Collection

This collection was donated to the AUTh Library in October 2016 along with the Megas Ioannis Collection.

This collection includes the personal papers of the poet Ntinos Christianopoulos; poems, literary drafts, books, the archives of the literary journal 'Diagonios', diaries, mail, photos, interviews, recordings involving mostly rebetiko music and Vassilis Tsitsanis.

The collection is being processed.


LC Classification Web is an integrated cataloging tool that assists with the assignment of Library of Congress classification numbers for bibliographic content. ClassWeb is accessed over the Internet using a standard Web browser and is kept up-to-date with the latest LC classification and authority data.


The Cochrane Library is a collection of six databases that contain different types of high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making, and a seventh database that provides information about groups in The Cochrane Collaboration.
