The Institutional Repository of Scientific Publications (IKEE) includes:

  • Scientific papers by AUTh Faculty & Research Staff, such as articles in journals and conferences, books, art and multimedia work, studies, etc.
  • Unpublished (“grey”) AUTh literature, such as doctoral dissertations, master theses, diploma theses.

Journal Citation Reports® offers a systematic, objective means to critically evaluate the world's leading journals, with quantifiable, statistical information based on citation data. By compiling articles' cited references, JCR helps to measure research influence and impact at the journal and category levels, and shows the relationship between citing and cited journals. Available in Science and Social Sciences editions.


Provides access to articles from multidisciplinary journals covered in KCI. KCI is managed by the National Research Foundation of Korea and contains bibliographic information for scholarly literature published in South Korea.

The National Archive of PhD Theses provides access to the PhD theses from all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Greece as well as PhD theses awarded to Greek scholars by foreign HEIs and certified by the Hellenic NARIC.

The National Documentation Centre of Greece (EKT) is the organization responsible, by law, for the collection, development and maintenance of the National Archive of PhD Theses.


Persée is a digital library of open access, mostly French-language scholarly journals, established by the Ministry of National Education of France. The website launched in 2005. The resource is maintained by the École normale supérieure de Lyon, French National Centre for Scientific Research, and University of Lyon.[1] It is one of the largest francophone portals dedicated to human and social sciences, with about 600 000 documents freely available (source)


ProQuest Central is the largest multidisciplinary database with over 12.000 titles, with over 9.000 titles in full-text. It serves as the central resource for researchers at all levels in all markets. Over 160 subjects areas are covered extensively in this product including business and economics, health and medical, news and world affairs, technology, social sciences and more.


ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global is the world's most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses from around the world, spanning from 1743 to the present day and offering full text for graduate works added since 1997, along with selected full text for works written prior to 1997. It contains a significant amount of new international dissertations and theses both in citations and in full text.


The Prothiki is intended to provide an online environment and technical support service to host and freely disseminate journals published under the aegis of the University and/or the responsibility of its staff.

It hosts open access journals published by AUTh Faculties, Schools, Departments, Laboratories, etc.


AUTh library digitizes its rare and special collections and makes them freely accessible through Psifiothiki.
