The unified Library of the Faculty aims to better serve the educational and research needs of its Schools. Its collection contains more than 30.000 volumes of books and 170 journal titles, of which 75 are active. The topics of the collection specialize in economics and political sciences, but also include material in related disciplines, such as Philosophy, Religion, History, Social Sciences, Communication and Mass Media, and Law.
The Library collection includes a valuable collection of rare books and a collection of textbooks and dictionaries. The donation of Aristovoulos Manesis is particularly important.
The Library of Economics operates since the academic year 1998-1999, while the Library of Political Sciences operates since June 2001. The two libraries were merged in the summer of 2019 and the opening took place on October 8, 2019. The ribbon was cut together by the Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Professor Nikolaos G. Papaioannou, and the Dean of the School of Economics and Political Sciences, Professor Grigoris Zarotiadis.
