The collection of the Library of Linguistics Department includes approximately 17.000 volumes of books, encyclopedias and dictionaries, doctoral theses and postgraduate papers of the School of Literature, reprinted articles, titles in Cyrillic, as well as audiovisual material (CDs and cassettes). The following have also been included in the Library’s collection: 

  • Manolis Triantafyllidis’ personal collection, consisting of general titles, mainly for the Modern Greek language. 
  • The personal collection of A.-F. Christides, consisting of titles of linguistic and general theoretical interest. 
  • Collection of rare books (826 titles) of linguistic and general content.  

Note that the collection of the journals of the Department of Linguistics has been transferred and housed in the Faculty of Philosophy Subject Library.
