Interlibrary loan of books and journal articles from collaborating libraries in Greece and abroad
According to the Library Regulation (article 4.4.), users requesting material via the interlibrary loan service are first informed about charges. Materials are ordered only after the applicant has agreed to and paid the total amount in advance. The cost is calculated on a case-by-case basis and includes the fee charged by the collaborating library lending the material plus any additional charges (postal, procedural, etc.)
Services to other libraries
Libraries that are interested in collaborating with the AUTh Library and ordering material from its collections are requested to use:
- for ordering books, the Hellenic Academic Libraries Interlibrary Loan Network “IRIS” VDX
- for ordering photocopies/articles, the Union Catalog of Journals via the National Documentation Centre
Alternatively, if there is no access to the aforementioned interlibrary loan services, ILL requests may be made via the 'Ask a librarian!' service.
