Library of Civil Engineering. © AUTh Library.

The Library holds about 12.600 book items and additional 2.700 journal volumes (year data 2013). Books may be borrowed, while reference books may be read onsite only. The Library implements a policy of telephone renewal and book reservation in order to meet the needs of its users.

History:

The Library was founded by the decision of the General Assembly of the School in the academic year 1996-1997. It started operating in late 1997, in a specially designed hall on the 1st floor of the Civil Engineers wing. It operated there for ten years. In 2007 the Library moved to the new building E10, now offering sufficient space for the housing of its continuously growing collection and for its user services (study positions and PC sites).
